Dedicated to Mae Brussell

I named this blog in honor of the late Mae Brussell, a housewife and mother who became a conspiracy researcher when she noticed something fishy about the JFK assassination. She started out by clipping articles from newspapers and magazines, and pretty soon she had her own radio show in Carmel, Calif. She was one of the first people to point out the war that was being waged by the CIA against the counterculture in the 1960s. She identified Charles Manson as being connected to the government's efforts. The sensational murders he was involved in were designed to discredit the hippie movement.
